Here’s a highlight of the most expensive homes for sale from across the country. Since we’re going to the end of the year, it’s a perfect time to relive on the highest-dollar deals of the year. Adding them all up will give us an astounding $445 million worth in transactions.

Most of the highlighted homes are gathered in just 3 states: California, Florida and New York. These blockbuster buys are true hits.

On Top 10:

119 Tuscaloosa Ave, Atherton, CA

Listed for just 2 months, this property was sold for $35.3 million in November 2015. The home has three level main residence, cabana guest house, and garage for up to 6 cars – sprawled over approximately 2 acres. Main details include 7 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and 20,375 sq ft of living space. With its overwhelming price and having built in the San Francisco Bay Area’s most expensive ZIP code, everyone’s left speechless with such a quick sale.

The junior Salomon died on December 7, 2014, at 100 years old.” This property has 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms and 6,280 sq ft of living space.

This property was sold for $38 million in March 2015. Classic Mediterranean Villa was originally designed by Paul Williams in 1931 and completely rebuilt in 2007. In September, its Grecian-style pool house was used as a setting for a pilot of a proposed reality television show “Paradise Coast Wives.”

Dubbed as the “Lionsgate Estate”, this property was sold for $46.25 million in March 2015. It was originally built by world renowned architect Paul Williams and was recently renovated and expanded. It was formerly owned by Nancy Davis, one of the daughters of billionaire Marvin Davis who died in 2004. The estate features 11 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms and 23,988 sq ft of living space in a 1.63 acre lot. The Bel Air manse was sold to a man that Variety dubbed a “rivet tycoon.”

 

On the Top 4:

440 Golden Gate Ave, Belvedere, CA

This property was sold for $47.5 million in August 2015. The sale breaks the record for the highest reported single-family home sale in San Francisco proper by $12 million, and the highest reported sale in Belvedere by around $22 million. Main property details are 5 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and 9,235 sq ft in a 0.94-acre lot.

Originally built circa 1895, the property known as Locksley Hall underwent a monumental restoration beginning in 1998 that lasted nearly 10 years. The estate—a three-story, 9,235-square-foot abode with a pool house, rose garden and panic room—is located on the southern crest of Belvedere Island with jaw-dropping views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge.

It has 8 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, and 19,299 sq ft of living space in a 2.69-acre lot, while its backyard features a pool and spa, a number of patios and a motor court. The sprawling estate sits at 1210 Benedict Canyon Drive in Beverly Hills, less than a mile from Sunset Boulevard. Wynn is the creator of several prominent resorts along the Las Vegas Strip including the Mirage, the Bellagio and the Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas and Macau, China. His net worth is currently valued at $2.6 billion.

25 Columbus Cir, Penthouse 7, New York City, NY

This condo property is sold for $50,917,500 in July 2015. This luxury 14-room unit at the Time Warner building was sold by Russian businessman Andrei Vavilov. It was on the market for $75 million early last year, then dropping the price to $68 million in November, finally landing on $51 million. This penthouse spares no opportunity to show off and comes with 400 feet of views in four directions (120 of which are of Central Park) and 8,274 newly-renovated square feet of living space.
